The process is that the pulp output from the headbox is dehydrated and formed in the wire section, shrunk in the press section to make the paper layer uniform, dried in the front dryer, and then enters the rear press for sizing, and then enters the rear dryer for drying treatment, and then A calender is used to smooth the paper, and finally it is passed through a winding machine to form a master paper roll.


Process flow of each component department of papermaking:

  1. The sizing system of the paper machine is responsible for the process of sending the pulp to the headbox at the wire end of the paper machine through pulp pumps, pulp pumps, multi-stage screens and other equipment.

  2. The headbox pulp distributor of the forming system evenly sprays the pulp sent from the flow system to the forming wire. The pulp speed and the wire speed should match. The forming wire is an endless ring-shaped mesh, between the breast roller and the bed roller. Between them, a horizontal or slightly inclined straight mesh surface is formed, which is used as the working section for pulp dehydration. It is customary to call it a mesh case, so it is called a Fourdrinier mesh. If the endless forming mesh is placed on the circular mesh cage, it will become an arc-shaped dehydration forming working section, which is called a circular mesh. If a steel screen drum with holes is used to suck vacuum from the shaft end to accelerate the dehydration of the pulp on the surface of the forming screen, it is called a vacuum rotary screen or vacuum forming screen. If the pulp is clamped between two long wires and the two wires are dehydrated and formed at the same time, it is called a clamped wire former. These formers use different forms of dewatering elements to accelerate dewatering of the pulp on the web.

  3. Rewinding equipment The rewinding machine rewinds the paper rolls (called raw paper rolls) produced by the paper machine in sequence. The paper is rerolled and made into finished paper before leaving the factory.

  4. The paper rolled by the paper rolling machine is relatively soft, may be damaged or broken inside, has uneven edges on both sides, and cannot be directly used in paper processing or printing machines. Most paper types ( Such as newsprint, letterpress printing paper, packaging paper, etc.) must be trimmed, slit, spliced, and rerolled on the paper roll core by a rewinding machine to form a finished paper roll with certain specifications and tightness requirements before leaving the factory. The rewinding process mainly completes three tasks: first, cutting off the burrs of the base paper; second, cutting the entire base paper into a number of widths that meet the user's specifications; third, controlling the roll diameter of the finished paper roll so that it meets the factory specifications. 

  5. Auxiliary system - the white water system is a recovery, treatment and reuse system for dewatering the forming section of the paper machine. It includes white water collection, transportation, filtration or sedimentation, air flotation and other equipment to separate and recover fibers and fillers for reuse, as well as the entire system for recycling clean white water in the papermaking process.
